Description: Wanting to visit a forest for the first time, Alfie and Mae brave the journey through the oak portal. Emerging on the other side, they find themselves surrounded by incredibly tall trees with pale, smooth bark. They meet a friendly kookaburra and learn that this is mountain ash forest and that they have traveled to Australia. With the help of kookaburra, they learn some of the secrets of this surprising forest.
