The Praying mantis is an insect found all over the world. There are many kind of praying mantis. They are predatory, meaning they feed on other insects.

The Praying mantis often relies on camouflage to hide from both animals that want to eat it and its prey.

The Mongabay Kids site (kids.mongabay.com) aims to help children learn about rainforests and the environment.
