Wild boar
Wild boar are found around the world. Often these are domestic pigs that have escaped their owners and returned to the forest. Animals that return to their wild state are called feral.
The Mongabay Kids site (kids.mongabay.com) aims to help children learn about rainforests and the environment. This site is still under development and I am working to add additional content as time permits.
