Blue-crowned Motmot
The Blue-crowned Motmot is a common bird in the tropical forests of Latin America. Its call is something like a low "hoo doot" sound.
The Blue-crowned Motmot feeds on insects and other small animals.
The Mongabay Kids site (kids.mongabay.com) aims to help children learn about rainforests and the environment.
