Tomato frog
The tomato frog lives in Madagascar, an island off of southern Africa in the Indian Ocean. The tomato frog protects itself from predators by releasing a toxic glue-like substance from its skin. Animals that attempt to eat the frog get sick.
The Mongabay Kids site (kids.mongabay.com) aims to help children learn about rainforests and the environment.
