CAPYBARA
The capybara is the largest rodent in the world. They are native to South America and are always found near water.
Capybara live in herds and are excellent swimmers. They feed mostly on river plants.
The Mongabay Kids site (kids.mongabay.com) aims to help children learn about rainforests and the environment. This site is still under development and I am working to add additional content as time permits.
