Green Tree Python
The Green Tree Python (Morelia viridis) lives in the tropical rainforests of Papua and Iran Jaya (Indonesia), Papua New Guinea and on the Cape York Peninsula of Australia. It feeds on small rodents and birds and are generally found in trees.
The Mongabay Kids site (kids.mongabay.com) aims to help children learn about rainforests and the environment. This site is still under development and I am working to add additional content as time permits.
