Dung beetle
Dung beetle pushing a ball of dung in Gabon. Dung beetles play an important role in the forest ecosystem, recycling animal waste and using it as a food source. These insects are found on every continent except Antarctica.
The Mongabay Kids site (kids.mongabay.com) aims to help children learn about rainforests and the environment.
