This species of jerboa was tied in the 2010 Guinness World Book of Records with the African Pygmy Mouse for the World's smallest species of rodent. They have an average head and body length of 1.7 in and females have an average weight of 0.132 oz. They are endemic to Pakistan, but data on this species is greatly lacking, therefore under the IUCN Red List they are listed as Data Deficient.
